Uganda Police Refute Media Claims that IGP is Giving Out Money to S3X Workers

The Uganda police force through its mouth piece AIGP Asan Kasingye has refuted allegations that the Inspector General Of Police General Kale Kayihura on Friday the 25th of August 2017 kick started paying out s@x wokers and boda boda riders to aid police work as crime preventers and spies on criminals in the Area of Nansana found in Wakiso district.

It must be noted that Nansana municipality has been hit by a wave of female murders in the past weeks which the police alleges to be orchestrated by a syndicate. According to the media claims, the IGP issued out UGx 200,000k to each s@x workers and boda boda riders after a closed indoor meeting with the police boss.

It is also alleged that Kayihura ordered bar operatives to transport s@x workers after work to ensure their safety.

However, Police spokesperson Asan Kasingye in a press release has refuted the distorted claims as the IGP is green about the allegations lamenting that the meetings that took place in Nansana and Katabi town council emphasized enhancement of popular vigilance as well as increasing police visibility suggesting that such measures are meant to aid the rebuilding of physical security under Mayumba Kumi with lookout teams especially at night that links them with police motorcycle and vehicle patrol squads.
