It appears as though the former first president and first lady have added several other exotic locations to their recent travels, just in time to celebrate the Easter holiday and soak up the sun this weekend.
As reported, Barack and Michelle Obama have recently been joined by the likes of Oprah, Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen for a festive yacht party in French Polynesia.
According to reports, the group is currently enjoying island-hopping while on vacation in French Polynesia and is enjoying quality time while traveling on a yacht called the Rising Sun. As reported, the yacht is currently owned by David Geffen, who originally purchased it from Oracle C.E.O. Larry Ellison.
As reported by Travel + Leisure, the luxurious getaway involved a lunch on Vanilla Island, a pitstop at Le Taha’a Island and is set to continue on to Bora Bora as the weekend unfolds.
Additionally, it has been noted that the trip will conclude at the Brando, a lavish resort where Obama has reportedly been residing while working on his highly anticipated White House memoirs.
We can only imagine what it’d like to be a fly on the wall and witnessing the fun (and intelligent conversations) this trip is inspiring between the Obamas, Oprah, Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen…
