Chairman of the ruling NRM party and the president of Uganda General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has come and revealed that those leaders including presidents who leave power quickly or in a short term of office cannot serve well the people. He even said that they are cowards who fear to deliver to masses that a good leader should not leave power quickly.
His Excellency Museveni continued to assert that many people would like their presidents to leave power on a short term notice and they forget that if that president leaves power, he will go without fulfilling his manifesto thus poor governance and service delivery.
While addressing masses at Makerere University on Nelson Mandela commemorate convention, Museveni asserted that Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a good leader but South Africans never benefited from him.
Because he spent little time in leadership thus limiting his potentials to be exhausted and put to use because he quickly gave out power to others. That aside, Kyadondo East Member of parliament Sentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine stood from the same convention and asserted that presidents who over stay in power do not give the youths chances to lead something that has kept them as the minority group and stop the exhaustion of their potentials.
