Kizza Besigye beats police to attend a burial in Mbale

Once a Commando, always a commando. The Colonel (Rtd) Dr Kizza Besigye has today managed to beat the security that has besieged his home in Kasangati, since his return from the United Kingdom, instructed not to let him move out of his home.

The FDC Leader today managed to escape and attend a burial of his friend, Richard Mafabi who has been the Magistrate of Makindye Kampala, in Budadiri West Mbale District as the police kept guarding an empty house.

The police are expected to keep guarding his home to stop him from holding the contrary independence celebrations that he announced to celebrate on Independence Day in Katwe, the suburb of Kampala.

Here is what Besigye posted about the burial and the photos of him at the burial.

“Sending off Mr Richard Mafabi, the deceased Magistrate of Makindye, in Buteza, Budadiri West Constituency, Sironko District. May his soul rest in peace.”
