The President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is finally set to face his long time enemies “the bunch of useless people” the International Criminal Court.
This comes after the Leader of Opposition Winnie Kiiza from Kasese and Robert Centenary made threats to take the leader of the Country to the International Criminal Court over Kasese Killings.
The President who has always attacked and rubbished the International Criminal Court calling them a “bunch of useless people” might now be the next victim of the court to have his warrant of arrest issued.
Winnie Kiiza is the Leader of Opposition and the Woman MP Kasese District where all these killings have been taking place while Centenary Robert is the MP Kasese Municipality.
Earlier this year after Clashes broke out in Kasese, President Museveni met leaders of opposition from Kasese region who were led by Winnie Kiiza as they looked for the way forward to end violence, though it seems the talks never yeileded a permanent remedy.
Uganda is among the African countries that are threatening to leave the International Criminal Court and the President is currently in South Africa where he is for a 2 day visit to President Jacob Zuma of the Republic of South Africa. Among the issues they are expected to talk about, is finalizing the plans to remove all African Countries from ICC.
