Donald Trump won’t rest until all he promised his voters are put in place and America is Great Again. It is the second week in office and he has already put Iran on notice to be crushed if it does not stop what it is doing as far as nuclear and WMD’s are concerned.
Trump released a statement given to him by the National Security Advisor where he says that Iran’s actions are provocative and defiance to the UN Security Council resolutions.
“Recent Iranian actions, including a provocative ballistic missile launch and an attack against a Saudi naval vessel conducted by Iran-supported Houthi militants, underscore what should have been clear to the international community all along about Iran’s destabilizing behavior across the Middle East.” Said the statement released on February 02. “The recent ballistic missile launch is also in defiance of UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which calls upon Iran ‘not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology.’”
Trump noted the latest series of incidents that have taken place in the past six months where Iran has been allying with some forces to destabilize the Middle East region. Houthi Forces whom Trump claims that they were trained and armed by the Tehran government recently struck vessels belonging to United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia plus threatening vessels belonging to the U.S that pass through the Red Sea.
Trump says that Obama’s administration has failed to stop Iran from continuing with destabilizing peace in the Middle East and threatening U.S allies something The Trump administration will not allow.
“The Obama Administration failed to respond adequately to Tehran’s malign actions—including weapons transfers, support for terrorism, and other violations of international norms. The Trump Administration condemns such actions by Iran that undermine security, prosperity, and stability throughout and beyond the Middle East and place American lives at risk.”
Trump concluded telling Iran that its days are over and they are putting it on notice. “As of today, we are officially putting Iran on notice.”
