The FDC Presidential candidate Kizza Besigye who is under police siege in his home Kasangati has refused to accept the presidential results saying that they are biased and do not reflect the fair view of what Ugandans decided.
K izza Besigye who has been running his campaign on “defiance” theme saying that he cannot agree to the Electoral Commission results unless they practice fairness in the process.
Upon declaring the 3rd batch of the preliminary results some of the opposition agents at the Namboole National Tally Centre yesterday left the tally centre in protest of the provisional results saying they do not represent the fair view of what happened in the polling process. This was the first indicator that FDC was to reject the results.
The party president Gen. Mugisha Muntu earlier this day had promised the FDC supporters that they should wait as FDC Tally centre is about to announce its own results and declare its own leader.
