Here is the gorgeous first look at Rihanna’s chopard campaign; The singer, who successfully took over the ready-to-wear market with her Fenty x Puma collection, is adding jewelry designer to her résumé as she recently collaborated with luxury brand Chopard for a collection launching this May, and she’s got the first shot to prove it’s worth the wait.
She posted the polished portrait of herself wearing a few of her designs to her Instagram account.
She went on to post on her instagram wall how happy she is so glad to be a designer
‘I am so happy to announce that i have the honour of designing with the legendary caroline Scheufele of the chopatd family , my first high jewellery collection. The core collection is up for pre-order now at chopard.com and will be in stores this summer. The full collection will be revealed and displayed in may in Canes during the #Cannesfilmfestival. According to Elle, Rihanna drew inspiration from the gardens and Carnival celebrations in her home island of Barbados for what is called the “Rihanna Loves Chopard” collection.
It consists of nine pieces she co-designed with Chopard’s creative director Caroline Scheufele, and each design will be “super limited edition” with only 2,000 of each being made available for purchase.
The items are currently available for pre-order and range from $1,460 to $11,140 to a “price upon request” all-diamond watch.
This venture stands as one of Rihanna’s many endorsement deals. In addition to her previously mentioned Fenty x Puma collection, the pop star has also done work with Manolo Blahnik, Dior and Stance.
