The Inspector General of Police General (IGP) Kale Kayihura has again done changes and reshuffles in the Uganda Police Force UPF with an aim he said is it is to improve the smooth running of the police force performance.
According to the official statement released on the 17th of August, 2017 signed by the IGP himself, it indicates that Assistant Inspector General of Police AIGP Abas Byakagaba was appointed to be the one to head Employee affairs of the police force the same position the late Andrew Felix Kawessi was running.
This position has been vacant since the 13th March, 2017 when unknown assailants shot the then AIGP Kawesi Felix with other two people and killed them instantly near Kawesi home in Kulambiro. So Byakagaba has scooped the fishy position for himself.
Byakagaba Abas has been administrating the school of Police located at Bwebajja on Entebbe road and others that were changed were AIGP Andrew Sorowen who has been heading various activities in police and now he is the head of sports activities in the Uganda Police Force, Moses Kafeero who had been sent to Rwanda to finalize with his studies has been appointed as the new Bwebajja police school administrator and many more who were reshuffled and re appointed.
